Dazmine graduated in 2010 with a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and then went on to obtain a Bachelors degree in Family and Human Development at Arizona State University; then continuing on at ASU to earn a Masters degree in Social Work. 

Dazmine has varied and expansive experience in multiple settings over the years with past experience in volunteer efforts with Regency Southern Care Hospice, Encompass Home Health, SPCA Albrecht Center, as well as Hands & Heart Food Pantry. In earlier years while receiving their education, simultaneously worked as an Event Specialist and Substitute Teacher for Aiken County Public Schools in South Carolina. Dazmine’s past clinical experience includes doing outreach work with the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson, NC, serving as a Family Program Coordinator Intern at Cool Kids Club House in Huntersville, NC, as well as serving as a Case Management Social Worker at RunningWORKS in Charlotte, NC conducting individual assessments, case management and counseling services to clients of various populations and ages. CAATL is thrilled to have Dazmine as a valued and extremely competent and passionate team member!

Dazmine specializes in working with children ages 4 and up, teens and adults of all ages providing individual and some family/parenting counseling and is passionate about working with the little ones and teens who are struggling with any behavioral and/or emotional issues. Dazmine is particularly skilled in helping children dealing with anxiety, mood regulation, stress from school or family issues and/or changes and is also very experienced working with children and people of all ages with developmental disorders, neurodivergent issues including those diagnosed with Autism or other spectrum challenges.

Dazmine has experience in and a love for working with clients of all ages and from varying walks of life dealing with anxiety, depression, grief and loss/bereavement, trauma, health issues, victims of domestic violence or other forms of emotional or physical abuse, job/career related issues, women’s issues, gender identity issues, cultural issues and general life stressors and changes. Working with clients of all ages who identify anywhere within the LGBTQ+ community and those in marginalized populations is also a passion of Dazmine’s and also enjoys working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Utilizing a variety of evidence based treatment modalities including Person-centered, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Strength based, Culturally competent and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to name a few, Dazmine excels at meeting clients where they are and deeply believes we all have the power within ourselves to discover our truest best selves and our own solutions and utilizes the power of therapy to help people find their answers and their deserved peace.

Dazmine is a deeply caring, highly ethical, skilled and compassionate therapist who exudes deep care, calm and warmth with each client they meet. Clients immediately feel the special vibe and sense of safety that Dazmine so very naturally presents within all their work with each and every client. They truly have a gift of making others immediately feel soothed and comfortable while also keeping it real and even fun! The office is and will always be a safe space for you to bring whoever you are and know you can be truly nurtured and authentically you.

Dazmine is an in-network provider with BCBS (other than Blue Value and Blue Local), Cigna, Aetna and Medcost (unless managed by CBHA) and also accepts private pay and some sliding scale spots as available.

Offering flexible hours for scheduling with some evening and after hours appointments working to try to accommodate client’s busy lives. Dazmine will make every attempt to respond to any calls or emails within 24 hours and prioritizes client/customer care.
